This post isn't about the season or brand downfall. Instead, this is about a literal fall that model Naomi Campbell had on the 1993 Paris runway while walking for Vivienne Westwood. This was an iconic moment for both the model, which sky rocketed her career and instantly had other designers asking if she could do the same for them (CNN). The heels were just above 8 inches tall and when Naomi fell over, the crowd didn't move a muscle seeing if she was alright. Then, Naomi smiled and started laughing and everyone laughed with her. This was all over the headlines and is still mentioned in the world of fashion. The shoes Campbell wore during this were displayed in a museum in honor of her 40 years in fashion in 2024.
